The Maze

The maze looms before me yet again

I’ve been here times before

Start going left, or just go right

This maze has been a chore

Something’s pulling me this time

A force from far away

I think I’ll let it lead me now

A different choice today

A subtle nudge that makes me think

It also makes me smile

I’m halfway through the maze by now

That didn’t take a while

Halfway more of twists and turns

New choices feeling right

For once I might complete the maze

And finally see the light

The maze has been a chore for me

But why I’d never know

Can’t wait to see the second half

And where this maze might go
