It All Starts.....

A voyage starts with a single step

Or you may choose to drive

No matter how that voyage starts

You’re sure to feel alive

A romance starts with a single date

Your courage served you well

How shy you were to ask her out

You wonder if she could tell

A healing starts with a single shot

Recovery seems far away

You suck it up and power through

And fight another day

A lifetime starts with a single breath

Its length you never know

So you make the most of every day

And breathe deeply as you go

A poem starts with a single word

The rhyme though, now that’s hard

And sharing it is harder still

I’ll lower now my guard
